I often walk along the waterfront and down the pier at Jerisich Park in downtown Gig Harbor. As an artist, I have learned to carry a camera with me for those rare and lucky artistic happen stances. On one such morning I spied this striking bluish teal rowboat with bright orange trim and matching life vests nestled in the dark water of an overcast dawn. I knew I had a painting! Row Boat has become one of my personal favorites because of the stark contrast of its complementary colors and for the stillness it emanates.
