I did this painting when I was 20. I was working predominantly in Gouache at the time (a more opaque form of watercolor), which allowed me to produce very photo realistic images. You may have noticed that the painting is signed by "Maryanne Landry." No, I am not marketing someone else's work. "Maryanne" was my first name that I changed a few years back to "Summer" - even though I still usually go by my middle name of "Lane".
